Melissa and I went to school together, a couple years apart and I hadn't seen her in almost 10 years when we showed up to a luncheon for a mutual friend. I was pregnant and she was there with your little girl. She was the first person I had seen from high school with a child and she made SUCH an impression on me, being the first example of how to REALLY be present for the child I was about to have. Her mothering was def'ly all encompassing for her. In talking with her I gleaned that she was incredibly happy in her life, with her hubby and child.... !! I have thought about your family a lot over this past year and although we weren't close by any means.... Melissa has impacted many with her life's journey. I will hug my child tight tonight....as I know you will, yours!! RIP Melissa!
